Through craft roasting coffee in Portland, OR., Central City Coffee supports the clients and mission of Central City Concern. Central City Coffee is in the unique position to promote opportunities for economic growth, linking coffee farmers in producing countries to Portlanders working to break the cycle of addiction and poverty.

Central City Coffee is available in retail stores in Portland at New Seasons Market, Green Zebra Grocery, Food Front Cooperative, Whole Foods and Chuck's Produce. An on-line purchasing function is coming soon.

Office coffee service is now also available!

Call us at 503-226-7387, ext 213 and we'll direct you to a provider that carries our coffees; your own current provider may already carry our products. French Roast and the following coffees listed below are available for office coffee:  

Velocity Blend contains coffees from producing partnerships with Cuatro M Cafes in El Salvador and El Paternal Estate in Guatemala.

Velocity Decaf is sourced with the same care as our other coffees in conjunction with our partners at Swiss Water Process Decaf Coffee.

Rwanda Burmera is an award winning coffee from numerous small farms in Rwanda''s Southern province near Nyungwe National Park, a tropical forest famous for its primate and bird diversity.

Through sourcing and roasting exceptional coffees, Central City Coffee provides job training opportunities for previously homeless people. Sales of Central City Coffee supports Central City Concern’s mission by providing clients with opportunities to learn transferable job skills through the coffee trade; specifically evaluating taste, packaging, sales and distribution, and wholesale account management.
