Central City Concern welcomes in-kind donations from individuals and groups including churches, civic organizations, schools, corporations and more! In addition to the standard needs listed below, we use our e-newsletter and Facebook page to make announcements regarding urgent needs.
Please call us first before you bring large items (furniture, etc.) or if you are working with a group to organize a donation of many items. We are always happy to answer your questions about whether an item is suitable! For a child, the first day of school is always a mixture of excitement and anxiety. Having all the right supplies helps ease the rite of passage
into a new phase of life, a new grade or a new school. For the parents of these children whose parents in recovery and rebuilding their lives,
being able to purchase all the necessary, first-day-of-school supplies is a significant challenge.
This is where you come in!
You can help make a difference in a child’s life by donating to Central City Concern’s school supplies drive. Items will be distributed to the students living in our alcohol- and drug-free Family Housing Communities.
Currently, our largest needs are backpacks and binders, but we will gladly take donations of all other items from the list above. items can be dropped off at the CCC Admin office (232 NW 6th Ave.) during business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
You can also purchase many of the items through our Amazon wishlist and have them delivered to us directly.
