Working is often an essential step for reintegrating into the community. At Central City Concern, we encourage everyone to become engaged swiftly, through volunteer activities and/or employment.
Central City Concern works with individuals one on one to address barriers to employment.
Our employment programs help people gain the work and life skills they need to be successful, and to make crucial, lasting changes in their lives. We train people in both the hard and soft skills necessary to succeed in the work place. We partner with business and non-profit agencies throughout the Portland metropolitan area to provide meaningful employment. And we hire our successful clients - as janitors, housing specialists, case managers and more.
